(BOISE) -- The Idaho Department of Lands (IDL) will hold a town hall meeting from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. on February 7 at the Payette County District Courtroom located at 1130 3rd Avenue North in Payette.

Mick Thomas, IDL Oil and Gas Division Administrator and Oil and Gas Conservation Commission Secretary, will give a short update regarding oil and gas activity in Payette County and then answer questions from the public.

In order to answer as many questions as possible, only written questions will be accepted and must include the person’s first name and the city in which they reside. Questions from those living in Payette County will be given first priority. Cards for submitting questions will be available. The public is encouraged to submit questions early by e-mailing pio@idl.idaho.gov.

Note: If the east entrance of the building is still under construction, the west entrance of the building will be used.
